Sooriya Kiran has had a chequered career so far.

Not many will know that before he became Sooriya Kiran, he was a child artsite in Tamil in a different name.

One thing led to another and now he is now before us as Sooriya Kiran.

Currently directing Brahmastram with Jagapathi Babu in the lead, Sooriya Kiran had directed two films before with contrasting results.

Satyam was his first and was a runaway hit. His Dhana 51, despite being appreciated, did not do well.

So, in that sense, Sooriya Kiran is on trial in Brahmastram.

But the young director who is married to actress Kalyani is confident that he will come through it all without any problem.

Sooriya Kiran has made bold to portray Jagapathi Babu as a tough guy. It is a high-octane action entertainer, says the director.

The hero is played as a powerful weapon by one political rival against another (played by Kota Srinivasa Rao and Asish Vidyarthi)

With Neha Oberoi playing the heroine, the film is being wound up very fast.

Sooriya Kiran feels that he will regain his lost ground through Brahmastram.
